Kilauea Point
Kauai, Hawaii

Kilauea Point is a narrow peninsula on the northern tip of the island of Kauai in Hawaii. It is part of the Kilauea Point National Wildlife Refuge and it is one of the few wildlife refuges in Hawaii that are open to the public.

Kilauea Point was purchased from the Kilauea Sugar Plantation in 1909 and the famous Kilauea Lighthouse was built in 1913. Kilauea Point became a national wildlife refuge in 1985.
