Rainbows in Paradise Pageant of Canoes
Fiji Float at the Canoe Pageant
Every afternoon there is a one hour parade of canoes and floats called "Rainbows of Paradise" in the Lagoon of the Polynesian Cultural center. The canoe parade is also known as the "canoe pageant" or "pagent of canoes" and it begins with a float bearing the members of the royal court, followed by floats bearing dancers from Aotearoa, Fiji, Hawaii, Samoa, Tahiti, and Tonga.

Every evening there is a spectacular Polynesian show called "Horizons" in the Pacific Theater of the Polynesian cultural Center. The show is approximately 90 minutes long and it has has a cast of more then 100 Polynesian dancers and performers from Aotearoa, Fiji, Hawaii, Samoa, Tahiti, and Tonga.

Luau begins with a lei greeting, followed by optional offerings such as a souvenir picture and a pineapple smoothie. Live Hawaiian music, master of ceremonies explains cultural significance of luau, Queen's Prayer is sung, presentation of the royal court, two men uncover underground oven, guests are directed to "all you can eat" buffet tables, while eating hula is performed in ancient style, with drums and so0tehr precussion instruments. plus modern hula to modern live music. birthday. anniversary, honeymoons and acknowledged, children are invited to go on stage for singing aloha oe. Menu includes poi, poke, lomilomi salmon, pipi kaula, kalua puaa (roast pork) teriaki chicken, chicken long rice, fish, taro rolls salads, fresh fruit, soft drinks (no alcoholic drinks at the PCC), and desserts such as haupia, guava cake, coconut cake, and chocolate macadamia nut cake.
