Lanai Christmas Festival
Every year, in early December, there is a tree lighting ceremony and Christmas Festival in Lanai City. The event features Christmas music, island style live entertainment, local food, activities, craft booths, goodie bags for kids, and opportunities for children to have their picture taken with Santa Claus. Organized by the Coalition for a Drug Free Lanai. The 20th Annual Lanai Christmas Festival and Tree Lighting Ceremony took place on December 6, 2008, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Old Dole Administration building in Lanai City.
