Kauai Gay Friendly Accommodations

The inns and bed and breakfast accommodations in this section make a special point of advertising themselves as being gay friendly Kauai accommodations.

Garden Isle Ranch
A gay owned and operated estate with one cottage and two vacation suites. The cottage has a queen size and a twin bed, a kitchen, and a private bathroom, Suites have king or queen size beds and private bathrooms. Caters to a mixed clientele. Owners Mark and David welcome everyone, gay, lesbian, and straight, to their estate.

Mahina Kai Ocean Villa B&B
When Mahina Kai opened in 1985 it was an exclusively gay B&B, but now, although it is still gay owned, and is frequently visited by gay men, it welcomes all visitors, gay, lesbian, straight, or whatever. Five beautifully decorated rooms are available, all with private bathrooms and king or queen size beds. Grounds include a swimming pool, Japanese gardens, and an 8 person hot tub.

Kalanikai Bed and Breakfast
A clothing optional bed and breakfast located in the town of Kalaheo on a narrow, winding, back country road. Kalanikai's three rooms all have king size beds and private bathrooms and one is a one bedroom, one bathroom apartment with a full kitchen. Facilities include a swimming pool, sun deck, and two hot tubs. Room rates include an expanded continental breakfast. I don't see anything on the Web site saying the resort is exclusively for gay men, but I have seen it listed elsewhere as a retreat for gay men.
