Fishing Tournaments on the Big Island

Hawaiian International Billfish Tournament
Fishing teams from all over the world complete for five days to catch Pacific Blue Marlin at this annual fishing tournament on the Big Island. The winning team receives the Hawaiian International Billfish Tournament Governor's Trophy. Most of the marlin caught are tagged and released. The tournament on July 20 2009 was the 50th Annual Hawaiian International Billfish Tournament.
