Ellison Onizuka Kona International Airport (KOA)
2,700 acre airport located in the Kona Region on the west side of Hawaii Island. The airport was renamed on January 1, 2017 to honor Hawaii born astronaut Ellison Onizuka. Construction began on the first phase of the airport's terminal modernization project on March 22, 2017.
