Ironman Triathlon World Championship
Annual triathlon championship event held every October in Kailual-Kona. The Ironman Triathlon is a multi-sport event held in Kailua-Kona every year that includes a 2.4 mile swim across Kailua-Kona Bay, a 112 mile Keauhou to Hawi round trip bicycle ride, and a 26.2 mile run, from Keauhou to Keahole Point to Kailua-Kona. The Kona Ironman Triathlon World Championships takes place every October.

Ironman 70.3 Hawaii Triathlon
Triathlon on the west side of Hawaii Island that was known as the "Honu Triathlon" when it was first held in 2004. In 2005 the distance was increased from Olympic to Half Ironman, and the name of the event was changed to the "Ironman 70.3 Hawaii".

Lavaman Waikoloa Triathlon

Former Big Island Triathlons

Keauhou Kona Triathlon
This half distance triathlon was held in Keauhou on the Big Island for 23 years, but the event was cancelled in 2005 due to low registration caused by similar events being scheduled at approximately the same time. The event's web site at keauhoutriathlon.com is no longer online.
