Kapoho Vacationland Subdivision

Information about the Kapoho Vacationland Subdivision in the Puna District on the east side of the Big Island of Hawaii. Also includes vacation home rentals in the area.

Introduction to Kapoho Vacationland
When you are driving on Highway 137 on the Big Island the first Kapoho Subdivision you will come to is Kapoho Vacationland. This area has large tide pools and protected pools for swimming and snorkeling. There are usually quite a few vacation homes for rent in Kapoho Vacationland. The homes in the Vacationland Hawaii subdivision rely exclusively on cesspools or septic tanks for sewage disposal which can affect the quality of the water in the Wai Opae Tidepools.
