A guide to events on the Big Island of Hawaii that typically take place in the month of May.

Evening in Paradise Gala and Concert
Fundraiser for the Hawaii Hotel and Lodging Association’s Annual Visitor Industry Charity Walk. The 2009 Evening in Paradise event took place at the Royal Lahaina Resort and it featured and a concert performed by the multiple-award winning Henry Kapono and pre-concert music and appetizers. Big Island Visitor Industry Charity Walk
Annual fundraising event held event held every year on the Big Island and three other largest Hawaiian Islands. The 31st Annual Charity Walk was called the "Back in the Plantation Days" Charity Walk and it took place on Saturday, May 16, 2009 on the islands of Hawaii, Oahu, Maui, and Kauai.
