Hawaii Horse Expo
Annual horse show held by the Hawaii Island
Humane Society that takes place at the
Kahilu Theatre and adjacent grounds in Waimea Town.
The event is a benefit for the Human Society's
Horse Rescue Fund.
Hilo Orchid Society Show
The 57th Annual Hilo Orchid Society Show and Sale
will take place August 7-9, 2009 at
Edith Kanakaole Stadium in Hilo.
Kona Daifukuji Orchid Society Show
Features hundreds of varieties
of orchids on display and for sale.
Event also includes lectures
and demonstrations. Held at the
Daifukuji Hall in Kona. Fore

Taste of Life Food and Wine Fundraiser
Annual food and wine benefit event at the Keauhou Bay Resort
and Spa. Features food, wine, beer, coffee and juices and
a silent auction. The 10th Annual Taste of Life Benefit will take place
August 22, 2009 at the Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort beginning
at 6:00 p.m. Tickets for the event usually go on sale in July.
The Taste of Life is a fund raiser for the Hawaii Island
