Hawaii Volcanoes National Park is located on the Big Island of Hawaii and it is approximately 333,000 acres in size. It spans from sea level to the 13,680 foot summit of Mauna Loa. The park is the home of the very active Kilauea volcano and more then half of the park is wilderness area.
