Waipio Valley Tours
Big Island, Hawaii

Hikes, wagon rides, horseback rides, four wheel drive tours, and ATV tours in the remote Waipio Valley on the northeast coast of the Big Island of Hawaii.

Hawaiian Walkways Hiking Tour
This Big Island hiking tour company offers a guided half-day "Waipio Waterfall Adventure" that includes a hike along the rim of the Waipio Valley and a swim in a waterfall fed pool. Most of the company's tours include lunch, but call to confirm.

Naalapa Stables Horseback Riding Tour
Riders have a choice of morning or afternoon 2.5 hour horseback riding tours through the jungles, streams, and taro fields of the Waipio Valley. A four-wheel drive vehicle transports riders from Waipio Valley Artworks to a stable on the valley floor.

Ride the Rim ATV Tour
ATV riders have a choice of a morning or afternoon 3 hour tour of the Waipio Valley. Riders must be age 16 or older and must be between 100 and 350 pounds. Closed shoes are required and long pants and long sleeve shirts are recommended. Safety gear is provided and is mandatory.

Top of Waipio 4-Wheel Drive Tour
This company's "Hidden Waterfall Safari" explores the Waipio Valley the way only a four wheel drive vehicle can experience it. The tour is approximately three hours and it includes lunch and beverages.

Waipio Valley Mule Wagon Tours
Take a 1.5 hour tour of the Waipio Val.ley in a mule drawn wagon. The tour begins at the WOH Ranch on Highway 240 and reservatins are required.
