Hawaii AgVentures Farm Visits
The Big Island Farm Bureau organizes education tours of farms, ranches, and plantations on the Big island of Hawaii. Farm excursions include single-day and multiple-day tours such as a seven day inter-island farm tour cruise, a "Mountains to the Sea" tour that includes visiting the NELHA ocean science and technology park, the Parker Ranch, and other farms, a "Taste of Kamuela Heritage Tour", a "Chocolate Treats and Tropical Temptations" tour, and others.

Hawaiian Artisan Farm Tours
Tours can be arranged by appoint to visit three artisan farms on the northeast side of the Big Island. A typical tour might include coffee and fresh baked banana bread at the Long Ears Hawaiian Coffee Plantation, followed by tea and snacks at the Mauna Kea Tea Garden Estate, followed by sweet treats at the Volcano Island Honey Company Farm. Merriman's Two-Farm Tour With Dinner
This tour organized by Hawaii Forest and Trail working with Merriman's Restaurant in Waimea includes a visit to Kahua Cattle Ranch operation in the Kohala Mountains followed by a visit to the vegetable and lavender fields at Honopua Farm. The tour ends with a four-course dinner at award-winning Merriman's Restaurant in Waimea. Tours usually begin about 2:00 p.m. and end about 7:30 and the price of the tour includes a guide, van transportation, and dinner. Tour participants must be at et least eight years old and tours are limited to 20 people in two 10-passenger vans.

Hawaii Vanilla Company tours
Tours and visitor activities at the Hawaii Vanilla Company include vanilla tastings, a Vanilla Experience Luncheon, and and an Upcountry Tea Brunch.

Hilo Coffee Mill Tours
Visitors to this 24 acre coffee farm located between Hilo and Hawaii Volcanoes National Park can see coffee being roasted and products such as coffee, tea, and chocolate being packaged. The shop has a coffee and tea tasting bar.

Kona Lea Coffee Plantation Tour
Tours of Holualoa Kona Coffee Company's Kona Lea Coffee Plantation feature the plantation's organic coffee orchards, coffee mill operations, and coffee roasting operations. For more information call 808-322-9937.

Kuaiwi Farm Tours
Two hour tours of this cacao, coffee, fruit tree, and vegetable farm in Captain Cook are available with advance reservations. Call 808-328-8888 for reservations or more information.

Long Ears Hawaiian Coffee Farm Tours
The Long Ears Hawaiian Plantation in Honokaa offers guided tours, but only if reservations are made in advance by calling 808-775-0385.

Mauna Kea Tea Plantation Tours
The Mauna Kea Tea Plantation in Honokaa offers guided tours, but only if reservations are made in advance by calling 808-775-1171.

Volcano Island Honey Farm Tours
This Volcano Island Honey Farm in Honokaa offers guided tours, but only if reservations are made in advance by calling 808-775-1000.
