Kai'Opua Canoe Club
An outrigger canoe club founded in 1929 that is based in the town of
Kailua-Kona on the west coast of the Big Island
Kawaihae Canoe Club
An outeriggger canoe club formed in 1972.
Based in Kawaihae on the Kohala Coast
Keauhou Canoe Club
The mission of the Keauhou Canoe Club is to educate its youth,
its membership, and the community at large about Hawaiian
culture, values, and traditions and to promote competitive
and recreational outrigger canoe paddling and other
water sports in historic Keauhou Bay.
Puna Canoe Club
Outrigger canoe club established in 1975 by
a group of paddlers in the Kalapana area.
When a lava flow made the Kalapana coastal area
unsafe for launching canoes, the club moved
to launching spots in the Hilo Bay Area.
Waikoloa Canoe Club
Outrigger canoe club established in 1985
by a group of Wailkoloa area paddlers.
Based on the south end of Anaehoomalu Bay.
