Honolulu King Kamehameha Day Floral Parade

This is the longest parade in Hawaii, with a route that begins in Downtown Honolulu and ends in Waikiki's Kapiolani Park. Features Marching bands and pau riders. Ends at the King Kamehameha day Celebration in Kapiolani Park. The 93rd Annual King Kamehameha Day Floral Parade will take plae on June 13, 2009

Annual food and wine festival on Maui features wine tastings, gourmet dinners, and food and wine tastings at Maui's Kapalua Resort. The 2009 Kapalua Wine and Food Festival will take place June 11-14, 2009.

King Kamehameha Day in Hawaii
King Kamehameha Day is a state holiday in Hawaii that was established to honor the first ruler of the Hawaiian Kingdom, King Kamehameha I.

King Kamehameha Hula Competition
Annual June Oahu hula competition presented by the Hawaii State Council on Hawaiian Heritage. Competition categories include Chant, Hula Kahiko, and Hula Auana.

King's Trail Triathlon (Maui)
Multi-sport event on Maui based at the Maui Prince Hotel. The event features a 1.5 kilometer swim, a 40 kilometer bike ride, and a 10 kilometer run. The 2009 event is expected to take place in June but the specific date has not yet been announced.

Pan Pacific Festival
Annual Oahu festival. The festival features hula halau from Japan and Hawaii performing at Ala Moana Center and other venues and a parade on Kalakaua Avenue in Waikiki. The 2009 Pan Pacific Festival will take place in Honolulu June 5-7, 2009.

Puuhonua O Honaunau Cultural Festival
Annual Hawaiian cultural festival at Puuhonua o Honaunau National Historical Park on the west side of Hawaii Island. Features activities such as net fishing, weaving, cooking and traditional Hawaiian culture demonstrations. The 2009 Puuhonua O Honaunau Cultural Festival will take place June 27-28, 2009.
