Slack Key Guitar Festivals in Hawaii
Milton Lau's Kahoku Productions has been producing and promoting slack key guitar concerts in Hawaii since the first Gabby Pahinui Slack Key Guitar Festival back in 1982. Today the Hawaiian Slack Key Guitar Festival is a series of events on four different islands.

Ukulele Festivals in Hawaii
There are ukulele festivals every year in Kapiolani Park on Oahu Island and on the grounds of the Waikoloa Resort on the west side of Hawaii Island. There is also an annual ukulele contest at the Aloha Tower Marketplace on Oahu that is usually an official Aloha Festivals event.
