The 2010 Hawaii Salsa Festival will take place
February 11-14, 2010. The 2009 event took
place at the Pagoda Hotel in Honolulu but the
venue for the 2010 festival has not yet been announced.
Great Maui Whale Festival

The Great Maui Whale Festival is the umbrella name
for several whale-related February events on Maui
including the half marathon Maui Run for the Whales,
the Maui Parade of Whales, the Maui Whale Day
Celebration, and the Great Whale Count.

Punahou Carnival

Annual fundraiser for Punahou School in Honolulu
that features carnival rides, carnival booths,
a silent auction, a student variety show, and
many other activities. Foods traditionally
sold are Punahou Carnival Mango Chutney,
Punahou Carnival Lilikoi Butter, Malasadas,
Hawaiian Plates, Chicken Plates, Portuguese
Bean Soup, and popular carnival foods and
snacks.

in Kamuela (aka Waimea Town) at Parker Ranch Center
and various other Waimea locations.
Waimea Town Celebration
(Kauai)
Annual February festival on the southwest coast
of Kauai featuring live entertainment and special
events that include the Kilohana Long Distance
Canoe Race, the Captain Cook Caper Run 10K, the
Waimea Roundup Rodeo, radio controlled car races,
a ukulele contest, a mountain ball tournament,
a hat lei contest, a silent auction benefit for
the Waimea Theatre, food sales, and other events
and activities.
