Punchbowl Crater - Easter Sunrise Service
The gates at Punchbowl Cemetery open at 4:30
a.m. for the 108th Annual Punchbowl
Cemetery Easter Sunrise Service on April 12, 2009. The service
begins at 6:15 a.m.
TheBus will run special shuttles at 5 am and 5:20 am
departing from Monsarrat Avenue with stops along Kuhio,
Kalakaua and the Alapai Terminal before heading to
Punchbowl. Return buses follow regular route #2 to
Waikiki. Regular bus fares apply. the 2009 event
will be the 106th Annual Punchbowl Easter Sunrise Service at
the National Cemetery of the Pacific.

Waikiki Shell - Easter Morning Service
People of all faiths are invited to attend a 9:00
Easter morning service at the Waikiki Shell in
Kapiolani Park on Sunday, April 12, 2009.
Event is free. In 2009 the Reverend Sky St. John
gave an inspiration sermon and live music was
performed by Anita Hall, Kristian Lei,
Zanuck Lindsey, Stefan Mitchell and Scott Wallace.
The event is being presented by the Unity Church of Hawaii.

Royal Hawaiian Hotel Easter Brunch and Egg Hunt
Waikiki's historic Royal Hawaiian Hotel, also known as the "Pink Palace
of the Pacific" will celebrate Easter on
Sunday, April 12, 2009 by continuing a long standing tradition with
its annual Easter egg hunt with two pink-tailed Royal Hawaiian
bunnies at 9 a.m. on the Ocean Lawn. The hunt is free of
charge for hotel and restaurant guests where you can continue
your morning with an extensive brunch buffet at the historic
Monarch Room with seating at 9 a.m., 11 a.m. or 1 p.m.
including live Hawaiian music, hula dancer, strolling
ukulele player, and balloon artist for the children.
The cost of the buffet is $78 for adults and includes
a complimentary glass of champagne. Children under 12
years of age are $58.50 and 4 years and under are free
with a paying adult.
Sheraton Waikiki Easter Egg Hunt and Bubble Brunch
On Easter Sunday April 12, 2009, the Sheraton will host
an underwater Easter Egg Hunt at 9:00 a.m. for
children ages 12 and under who are hotel
guests or have reservations for the hotel's Easter Brunch.
Following the Easter egg hunt, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm,
there will be am "Easter Champagne Bubble Brunch" in
the hotel's Twist at Hanohano Restaurant.
