Hawaii events in January of 2009 include the Mercedes-Benz Golf Tournament, the Maui Paradise Marathon, the Sony Open Golf Tournament, the Mastercard Golf Tournament, the Grand Reopening of the Royal Hawaiian Hotel, the Miss Maui Pageant, the Maui Oceanfront Marathon, Sharon's Ride and Run for Epilepsy, the Aloha State Square and Round Dance Festival, the Iolani Luahine Hula Festival, Astronaut Ellison Onizuka Remembrance Day, and special events celebrating New Year's Day and Martin Luther King Day in Hawaii.

February 2009
