Great Aloha Run
Annual 8.15 mile running event on Oahu with a course
that begins at the Aloha Tower in downtown Honolulu
and ends inside the Aloha Stadium in Aiea.
There is also an event for children called the
Kieki Aloha Run that usually takes place the day
before the main Great Aloha Run.
Run for the Whales
The Maui Run for the Whales has half-marathon and 5K
distances and is one of the events in the Great Maui
Whale Festival held every February. Usually there is
also a fun run associated with the event.
Big Wave Invitational Holding Period Ends
The holding period for the Quicksilver Big Wave Invitational
Surfing Competition in Memory of Eddie Aikau begins
every year on February 1 and it ends on the last day
in February. It is only held during years in which
the waves at Waimea Bay are at least 20 feet high

Annual soccer tournament for boys and girls in the
Hawaii Youth Soccer Association. The tournament
takes place over the Presidents Day weekend at the
Waipio Peninsula Soccer Complex in Central Oahu.

Pro Bowl Football Game
The Pro Bowl is the annual all-star game of
the National Football League (NFL). It was held
at the Aloha Stadium in Honolulu from 1980 through
2009, but in 2010 it was moved to LandShark Stadium
in Miami Gardens, Florida. It is expected to move
back to the Aloha Stadium for the 2011 and 2012 games.
SBS Open at Turtle Bay
The SBS Open at Turtle Bay was a Ladies Professional
Golf Association (LPGA) golf tournament held for five
years, from 2005 through 2009, at the Turtle Bay Resort
on the north shore of Oahu. The Seoul Broadcasting
System (SBS) was unable to sponsor
the event after 2009, so unless it finds another sponsor,
