Big Wave Holding Period Begins

Honolulu Marathon
The Honolulu Marathon is the largest running marathon in Hawaii and it takes place every year, on the island of Oahu, the second Sunday in December.

Maui Ocean Challenge
Annual swimming, paddleboard, kayaking, and running event organized by the Maui Multi-Sports Club. Held every December at Kamaole beach Park in Kihei.

Van's Triple Crown of Surfing
Takes place in November and December on the island of Oahu. The Billabong Pro women's event takes place on the island of Maui.

XTERRA Trail Running World Championships
Annual trail running race at the Windward Oahu Kualoa Ranch. Takes place one week before the Honolulu Marathon.
