Hongpa Hongwanji Mission of Hawaii

FROM THE MISSION WEB SITE: Honpa Hongwanji Mission of Hawaii is located at 1727 Pali Highway, just on the outskirts of downtown Honolulu. Our organization has a great historical background of over 110 years in Hawaii. The first Hongwanji temple in Hawaii was dedicated on March 3, 1889. Since then, 36 temples and the Buddhist Study Center have been established statewide, including the Honpa Hongwanji Hawaii Betsuin and the Honpa Hongwanji Hilo Betsuin.
