    Oral Histories of African Americans in Hawaii
    In 1988 University of Hawaii Professor Kathryn Waddell Takara audio taped oral interviews with ten older African Americans on Oahu so they could be included in the 406 page book "Oral Histories of African Americans". Those interviewed included Walter Alexander, Gladys Crampton, Bertha Dunson, Ernest Golden, Howard Johnson, Alexander Lewis, Lucille Maloney, Ulyless Robinson, and William Waddell.
