Where to find the most spectacular swimming pools in Hawaii. Includes super pools at Hawaii's hotels and resorts and super pools at Hawaii waterparks

Hilton Hawaiian Village Paradise Pool (Oahu)
The Hilton Hawaiian Village Hotel in Waikiki has a new Paradise Pool that is 5000 square feet in size and what is advertised as the longest slide in Waikiki. The Paradise Pool is a freshwater swimming pool with two tiers, streams, bridges, three waterfalls, two hot tubs, and four slides, including a 77 foot lavatube slide. There are also five other swimming pools on the grounds of the Hilton Hawaiian Village Resort plus the 5 acre, man-made, saltwater, Duke Kahanamoku Lagoon, was recently renovated to add a water circulation system to keep the lagoon water clean.

Grand Wailea Canyon Pool (Maui)
The Wailea Canyon Activity Pool in South Maui is 2000 feet long, 25,700 square feet, and it holds 770,000 gallons of water. The pool has nine levels, from 40 feet high and dropping to sea level. The pools are connected by a river that moves a speeds from leisurely to whitewater rapids. The area includes four jungle pools, four tile slides, a whitewater rapids slide, a "tarzan pool" with a rope swing, a water elevator, a sandy beach, six waterfalls, caves, three hot tubs, a baby pool, and a swim-up bar.

Hilton Waikoloa Village Kohala River Pool (Hawaii Island)
The Kohala River Pool at the Hilton Waikoloa Village resort on the Big Island of Hawaii is really four pools connected by waterslides. The hotel's Kona pool has waterfalls and a 175 foot twisting waterslide, and the hotel's Ocean Tower pool is a relaxing spot for adults only.

Hyatt Regency Kaanapali Napili Pool (Maui)
The Napili Pool at the Hyatt Regency Kaanapali Resort on the island of Maui has a children's area called the "Keiki Lagoon" featuring 3000 square foot, 18 inch deep kid's pool surrounded by sand and lava rock formations The pool has a 25 foot waterslide, and sand covered island in the center, simulated tides and tide pools, and fountains spraying up to 10 feet in the air. The hotel also has a second swimming pool, called the Lahaina Pool where water aerobics and hydro-fit classes are held. The Hyatt's pools also feature a 150 foot lava tube water slide, a swim-up bar hidden behind two waterfalls, and "Dive In" movies projected onto an outdoor wall

Sheraton Waikiki Swimming Pool (Oahu)
The Sheraton Waikiki Hotel opened its new Superpool in December of 2008. The pool sits in the resort's new 12,500 square foot activity area known as the Helumoa Playground that cost about $8 million to build. The Sheraton Waikiki Superpool sits between that hotel and the Royal Hawaiian Hotel and it features two freshwater swimming pools, a 15 foot high by 70 foot wide waterslide, two hot tubs, an interactive fountain area for children. The Sheraton Waikiki's new RumFire bar and restaurant overlooks the pool area.

Disney Resort Pool at Ko Olina (Oahu)
Ground has broken on this new Disney Resort on the grounds of the Ko Olina Resort in West Oahu and is expected to be completed some time in 2011. A large, children's play area and swimming pool is included in the plans.
