Nude Beaches in Hawaii

A guide to beaches in Hawaii that are frequented by nude sunbathers and nude swimmers. Note that there are laws against public nudity in Hawaii, and while nude sunbathers are often left alone if they are in secluded spots, there is always a chance you will be approached by law enforcement officials if you take off your clothes in a public place in Hawaii.

The island of Kauai has three beaches with a reputation of being tolerant toward clothing optional sunbathers: Donkey Beach near Kapaa and two beaches on the north shore, Larsen's Beach and Kauapea Beach (aka Secret Beach). Note that Kauai has been less tolerant of nude sunbathing in recent years.
