Where to find Hawaiian culture in Washington DC.

Hawaii State Society of Washington DC
An organization established in 1950 to promote the culture and traditions of Hawaii in the greater Washington DC area. The club includes more then 400 members and their Web site includes general information about the organization, membership information, officers, Hawaii resources on the Web, and a calendar of Hawaii events in Washington DC and the surrounding area.

E Hookulaia Hawaii Kakou
Annual Washington DC Hawaiian culture festival presented by the National Museum of the American Indian in Washington DC. The 3rd Annual E Hookulaia Hawaii Kakou took place place June 12-14, 2009. The special guest performers at the 2009 festivgal were the Brothers Cazimero. Other events and activities at the two day festival included a screening of the film "Na Kamalei: The Men of Hula", Hawaiian cultural demonstrations, hula lessions, traditional Hawaiian Games,
