of August at Keehi Lagoon Park and it features
a song festival, a song and dance group competition,

cultural workshops, demonstrations, and other activities.

Annual Fire Knife Dancing Contest at the Polynesian
Cultural Center on the northeast side
of Oahu Island.

The Annual Samoan Festival at Northeast Oahu's Polynesian Cultural Center
includes the above World Fire Knife Competition and a high school
Samoan arts and traditional customs competition featuring skills such as
basket weaving, coconut husking, fire making, speech making, singing,
and dancing.
