Preserving Places in Hawaii

Kapiolani Park Preservation Society
founded in 1988 to preserve and protect the open spaces in Kapiolani park and discourage commercial development of the park lands.

Save Kaimana Beach Coalition
A grassroots organization founded to "protect the ambiance of Kaimana Beach" and support the development of a memorial beach on the site of the War Memorial Natatorium. Kaimana Beach and the Natatorium are located on the Diamond Head end of Waikiki.

Kau Preservation Society
